NEW CSA DIVING COMPETENCY STANDARD OUT FOR PUBLIC REVIEW – AUGUST 1st deadline.

By CADC Admin ~ June 3rd, 2021. Filed under: Standards and Regulations.

The draft new edition of CSA Z275.4 (Diving Competency Standard) is now available for public review: https://publicreview.csa.ca/ To view the document on the PR site, just search for “Z275.4” or “Diving”.

This will be a 60-day public review (starting today and closing on Aug. 1st). Please inform your affiliates and any other interested parties of the availability of this important new edition for their review.

Note: First time users of CSA’s public review system will need to register in order to have access to standards for review.

As a reminder; this is a “public” review. Committee members should not be commenting on the contents of the draft through this system. Members’ comments and recommendations are given higher priority through our committee consensus process. If members or their organizations wish to provide further comments on the draft Standard, please send them to the SC Chair (Aaron Griffin) or to the TC Executive (Dave Geddes), or make them on-line on the Committee workspace.

As discussed during our last meeting, at the end of the review period, the PR comments will be gathered up and prepared for the review of the Technical Committee. Based on this review of PR comments, the TC will then decide whether or not further modifications need to be made to the draft Standard (or for consideration of future development of Z275.4).
