Several Dive Supervisors courses will be held in December and Jan.\u00a0 The diving supervisor course will be of 36 hours duration, be taught by a diving supervisor with five years\u2019 experience as a supervisor and three years\u2019 experience as a teacher at an accredited diver training establishment, and will cover the following subjects:<\/p>\n
(i) elements of supervising;<\/p>\n
(ii) motivation and communication;<\/p>\n
(iii) legal responsibilities under provincial\/territorial and federal diving statutes and regulations;<\/p>\n
(iv) health and safety programs;<\/p>\n
(v) site emergencies and accident investigation; and<\/p>\n
(vi) dive accident prevention and management planning;<\/p>\n
