It is hoped that our contribution will assist in the continuing success of dive standard development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many of the individual CADC member companies have also made financial contributions to the Standards Development \u2013 showing dive industry support for the Z275 Dive Standards addressing safety in operations, competency and training.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is hoped that more of the stakeholders who benefit from the safety standards either directly or indirectly also commit to the success to these important Standards,\u201d Doug Elsey \u2013 CADC Executive Director said. \u201cThe Standards need more financial support from dive companies, schools, regulators, diver certification institutions and the very divers themselves who benefit directly from these standards.\u00a0 The industry, because of the safety standards, is a lot safer than it used to be \u2013 but we have a long way to go to keep it current and relevant. The CADC intends to offer continued yearly financial and intellectual support into the Z275 Dive Standards\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA safe industry is one where all the stakeholders communicate constructively to build on the common goal of diver and Industry safety.
