Mr. Costello is the President of Canpac Divers Inc and is a past member of the Canadian Standards Association, Committee for Occupational Diving and Hyperbaric and Caisson Sub-Committees.  Mr. Costello has also assisted with the formulation of diving standards for Workers\u2019 Compensation Board of British Columbia; now WorkSafe BC.  Mr. Costello holds a Certificate of Recognition from the BC Construction Safety Association.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Costello\u2019s work experience includes consultation and project management services to engineering and marine construction firms and government corporations.  He has \u201chands-on\u201d knowledge of all diving disciplines; as well as extensive personal experience with underwater construction and fabrication.  <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Costello\u2019s experience has also expanded to ROV work and his company, Canpac Divers Inc. owns both a work-class and observation-class ROV.  He has undertaken a number of projects with these two vehicles and successfully completed cruises involving cable laying, inspections and repair work.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Costello has headed salvage and search and recovery projects in Italy and Cuba.  He is fully conversant with sub sea engineering, hydrographic surveying and non-destructive testing.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Costello replaces the outgoing president Mr. Marc-Andre Desy &#8211; CADC&#8217;s first Quebec based and French speaking president on Jan 1, 2012.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Glenn Costello has been elected president of the CADC for the 2012 2013 term.
